## The honest read

Otter Creek Electric is an electrical contractor with a 3.7-star Google rating from 3 ratings.

A 2024 Google customer said they hired Jody for a complete rewire originally estimated at $25,000. That 2024 customer wrote that the project got off to a slow start, set them months behind in scheduling and cost them over $5,000 in lost wages and additional labor. The same 2024 reviewer said Jody would go weeks without responding, showed up without notice and did not show up at times he had committed to, and that updated estimates were never received when the scope changed. In that 2024 account, invoices near completion brought the total to more than $37,000 while the job was not yet done.

**Concerns:**
- Cost over estimate — a 2024 customer said a $25,000 rewire passed $37,000
- Scheduling and communication — a 2024 customer described missed appointments and slow replies
