## The honest read

P.A.T. Installations puts in IKEA kitchens, and it holds 5 stars from 11 ratings on Google. The company says on its website that it has been servicing IKEA New Haven's customers for over 20 years.

A 2023 customer said Pat and Shelly saved an IKEA install project after the original installer failed to complete it, and were at the house for one day. A 2023 customer wrote that Shelley and Patrick installed IKEA cabinet boxes in an old carriage barn, where the kitchen is below ground with a low ceiling, and helped solve problems the irregular space raised. That 2023 customer said they were included in making the final decisions.

A 2024 customer said P.A.T. installed their IKEA kitchen and worked with them on the design, and that the project was on time and at a fair price from demo to final touches. That 2024 customer said the new kitchen was a far cry from the early-1970s one they had lived with for many years. A 2024 customer said Shelley and Pat installed their kitchen and that, over a year later, they were still impressed every time they walked in to cook.

**Strengths:**
- A rescued IKEA install — a 2023 customer said they saved it after the original installer failed
- An irregular space — a 2023 customer said they helped solve problems in a carriage barn
- A fair-priced install — a 2024 customer said the project was on time and fairly priced
