# P&R Boucher Builders Ltd.

**Trade:** Carpentry · **Address:** 129 Belmont Ave, Lowell, MA 01852 · **Phone:** (978) 454-0196 · **Languages:** English

**Rating: not yet scored** — 0 reviews across 3 sources is too little evidence for an honest number.

## The honest read

Trim, built-ins and decks sit at the centre of what P&R Boucher Builders does — crown molding, wainscoting, cabinet and door installation, deck building and repair, the finish work people look at from a foot away.

Houzz places the company in Lowell, says it has been working since 1985, and lists a 21-town service area. BuildZoom's profile, which gives a Dracut address, carries 50 projects of permit activity for residential remodeling and additions.

One thing to settle first: the Massachusetts construction supervisor licence listed on Houzz, CS-052771, is expired on the state registry, where Paul R. Boucher is the holder of record. BuildZoom separately lists a general contractor licence number, #104660. Ask who pulls the permit on your job and under which current licence.

For finish carpentry, a deck, or an addition that needs permits, the project history is something concrete to ask them about — pick two recent jobs like yours and ask to see them. Get the licence question and proof of insurance settled in writing before anyone starts.

**Strengths:**
- Finish carpentry range — built-ins, trim, crown molding, wainscoting, cabinets
- Permit history — BuildZoom shows 50 remodeling and addition projects
- Long-running shop — Houzz says the company has worked since 1985

**Concerns:**
- Expired supervisor licence — state registry shows CS-052771 expired for Paul Boucher

**Where sources disagree:**
- Houzz places the company in Lowell, Massachusetts, while BuildZoom's profile gives a Dracut address.
