## The honest read

Five customers between 2017 and 2019 described the same person: Pedro, who turns up with one worker or a crew of four or five depending on the job. One had a fence repaired and a gate added in May 2019 and called the price very reasonable, then hired him again for spring cleanup. Another, in November 2018, said the old fence posts had been thin and set two feet down, and that Pedro replaced them with square posts going four feet into the ground, for less than the other quotes they had.

Two other customers had a different experience, and both wrote at length. In March 2020 one said the quote covered 52 feet more fence than they needed, that they had walked the measurements with other contractors, and that the numbers were not corrected when they raised it; they put the quote about $4,000 above the others for the same work. In June 2019 another said the call was ended once they mentioned living a town over, and that follow-up calls went to voicemail.

Angi shows a 5.0 badge from five counted reviews while its review section renders seven cards, the two complaints among them. Everything written, good and bad, falls between 2017 and 2020.
