## The honest read

P Tree United Services lists residential and commercial waste removal, construction roll-offs, junk removal, yard cleanup, snow removal and tree services on its website, and says it has been in business for 10 years. The towns it names run from Hamden, New Haven and West Haven to Waterbury, Meriden and Branford.

A recent customer said the company cleared a section of yard overgrown with mugwort and other weeds to prepare for fence installation, and that everything was cut, cleaned up and hauled away. A recent customer who hired them last minute for a move out of an apartment and into a storage unit said they disassembled furniture, unmounted a TV, packed and unloaded the truck and organized the storage unit. Gail W. wrote recently that they removed all the junk from the property. A recent customer whose grass had grown tremendously needed someone last minute and said Huaason, named as the owner, was immediately responsive.

A 2026 Thumbtack customer said Hassan, working alone, moved heavy boxes and bags up 4 flights of stairs. A 2025 Thumbtack customer said he responded within minutes and got the job done the same day. A 2024 customer said owner Haason Pires came right away to quote the job, and that they removed half of a tree that had fallen in the yard and the leftover leaves for a spring clean up. A 2023 customer said Hassan and crew landscaped a lawn and garden and removed a small tree and an overgrown weed stump.

**Strengths:**
- Overgrown yard cleared — a recent customer said everything was cut and hauled away
- A last-minute move — a recent customer said they packed and unloaded the truck
- Same-day job — a 2025 customer said he got it done that day
- Fallen tree removal — a 2024 customer said they removed half a fallen tree
