Instead, that customer said, Ibrahim, named in the review as the owner, had several guys strip all of the decades-old paint and restore the mahogany trim work. The customer then gave the company another job. On Thumbtack, the company describes itself as a small team with 8 years in business, focused on interior painting, popcorn texture removal and wallpaper removal. It holds 4.9 stars from 22 Thumbtack ratings. A customer said Ibrahim and the guys painted three rooms inside the house neatly on a last-minute job. That customer then asked them, on short notice, to paint a small deck, front door, shutters and garage doors, and said all came out very well. A customer whose deck had been stained multiple times by various contractors was happy with the deck and house trim and called the prices reasonable. A customer said Ibrahim and his team paid attention to small details. In a 2025 review, a customer said their kitchen cabinets and kitchen ceilings went from brown to white. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0672091, as active, held by Painters VIP LLC. **Strengths:** - Mahogany trim restoration — decades-old paint stripped and the mahogany trim work restored - A short-notice job — small deck, front door, shutters and garage doors painted - Reasonable prices — a customer called the prices reasonable - Small details — Ibrahim and his team paid attention to them ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A customer said Ibrahim had several guys strip all of the decades-old paint from mahogany windows and restore the mahogany trim work _(confidence: high)_ - [Thumbtack](https://www.thumbtack.com/ct/waterbury/interior-painting/painters-vip-llc/service/510500772824842258) — “The best, most awesome, fabulous painters I have ever met!!
