## The honest read

Paintworks Plus says it has been painting homes in Fairfield and Litchfield Counties from Sherman, Connecticut for more than 35 years, and it offers free estimates.

A 2025 customer said Joe and his team, Andre and Giovanni, painted their kitchen and kitchen cabinets, a job with tricky spots: holes in the ceiling where lights had been replaced, cabinetry gaps that needed molding and off-center holes for door pulls. That 2025 customer said they showed up on time, cleaned up, and were then asked to paint another room.

A 2023 customer said Joe painted baseboards after the floors were refinished, that the work expanded based on his recommendations, and that he had colleagues scheduled when carpentry work was needed. A 2023 reviewer wrote that Joe and his staff painted a master bedroom, including the trim and a cathedral ceiling, and called the work thorough and neat.

A 2025 customer said Joe and his team transformed a living room and dining room and helped refine the couple's ideas for the rooms. A 2025 reviewer praised a wallpaper hanging job. A 2024 customer said they painted the interior of the house and that they would use them for power washing. A 2023 customer called a cabinet painting job nice and clean.

Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0702069, as active, held by Patch and Paintworks Plus.

**Strengths:**
- Kitchen cabinet painting — a 2025 customer said tricky gaps and holes were handled
- A cathedral ceiling — a 2023 reviewer called the bedroom work thorough and neat
