Its website lists double hung, single hung, casement, awning, hopper, slider and picture windows for new construction and replacement. A customer who purchased windows from the company a year ago wrote that a large window was not ordered correctly during installation, and that the company credited back a portion of the window. They also wrote that the sliding glass door handle was misordered, misshapen and installed incorrectly 3 different times, that a screen door does not lock, and that after an internal crack in one window it took 4 months for the company to ship the wrong window. A customer with a broken window said the installer told them they had a lifetime warranty and to call the manufacturer, and that they could not get anyone on the phone after leaving 3 messages; they said they had spent $13 grand. A customer said they had been trying for a week to reach the company about a window it installed, with no return calls. A customer who wanted the name of the manufacturer of the screen doors Paradigm sold them, to order the correct wheel after one fell apart just over a year in, said Frank ignored their repeated emails. The company holds 3.5 stars from 69 Google ratings and a B- grade from the Better Business Bureau. **Concerns:** - Unreturned calls — a customer said calls about an installed window went unanswered - Ordering errors — a customer described a misordered window and door handle - Warranty service — a customer could not reach the manufacturer after 3 messages - A parts request — a customer said repeated emails were ignored ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Describes itself on the Better Business Bureau as a manufacturer of windows and sliding doors _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/me/portland/profile/window-manufacturers/paradigm-windows-0021-542185) — “About (Better Business Bureau, self-described): Paradigm Windows, LLC specializes in manufacturing of windows and sliding doors.” - Its website lists double hung, single hung, casement, awning, hopper, slider and picture windows for new construction and replacement _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://paradigmwindows.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Products Double Hung WindowsNew Construction & ReplacementSingle Hung WindowsNew Construction & Replacement…” - A customer described a misordered window, a sliding door handle installed incorrectly 3 times, and 4 months to ship the wrong replacement window _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2tKT2NrVmZjMVpCVG5aRVJXSTRhMnBMWmpKdVlVRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xdb9194bfa36d67cd!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOkJOckVfc1ZBTnZERWI4a2pLZjJuYUE%7C%7C?hl=en) — “1★ I am extremely disappointed with the level of quality and service of this company.
