The homeowner said Paradis Remodeling & Building finished on time and on budget, and cleaned up at the end of each day. The Southampton company describes a residential design-build business offering kitchens, bathrooms, finished basements, decks, porches, siding, windows and additions. Its website offers free estimates and names nearby service towns including Northampton, Amherst, Springfield, Longmeadow and Westfield. The customer accounts run from 2014 to 2022. In a January 2016 Houzz review, a homeowner said Rick, Steve and Adam had renovated the kitchen and added a game room earlier in 2015, praising their attention to small details. Another homeowner, writing in December 2015, described a much broader renovation of a 1954 ranch: a bathroom remodel, a closet converted to a laundry room, walls opened up and hardwood floors refinished. That customer also described a four-season sunroom with cedar trim and a cedar-planked ceiling. During the two-month construction period, they said the crew arrived every day at 8 a.m. and cleaned up each night. Smaller projects drew specific praise too. A November 2014 reviewer described a second entrance to a room above the garage, saying the job finished on time and the workers put landscape stone edging back after digging footings. An October 2014 customer described returning for bedroom and stairway work after a deck rebuild, then having the garage sided with a window and side door added. In March 2015, another household praised hardwood-floor installation and painting, along with help resolving ice damage. A Google reviewer writing in January 2022 praised the attention to detail during a custom home build. Houzz shows a 4.9-star average from seven ratings, and BBB gives the business an A+. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration 171738 was verified as expired in September 2026. BBB lists other licence numbers, including 176404 and two construction supervisor numbers; those are directory claims, rather than registry verification of those licences. **Strengths:** - Bathroom conversion — a 2015 customer reported finishing on time and on budget - Daily cleanup — 2015 Houzz customers praised cleanup during their projects - Repeat projects — a 2014 customer returned after a deck rebuild **Concerns:** - Expired HIC registration — Massachusetts registration 171738 was verified expired in September 2026 ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - The company describes residential design-build remodeling, including kitchens, bathrooms, finished basements, decks, porches, siding, windows and additions. _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/southampton/profile/remodeling/paradis-remodeling-building-llc-0261-319912) — “About (Better Business Bureau, self-described): Paradis Remodeling & Building provides home remodeling services, including kitchens, bathroo…” - Its website offers free estimates and names Northampton, Southampton, Amherst, Springfield, Longmeadow, Agawam, Westfield, Southwick, Holyoke and Easthampton as its service area. _(confidence: high)_ - [Official Website](https://paradisremodelingandbuilding.com) — “Stated offer (self-reported): free estimates” - [Official Website](https://paradisremodelingandbuilding.com) — “Stated service area (self-reported): Northampton, Southampton, Amherst, Springfield, Longmeadow, Agawam, Westfield, Southwick, Holyoke, East…” - An October 2015 Houzz customer described converting one bathroom and adjacent closets into two bathrooms, with the work completed on time and on budget. _(confidence: high)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/design-build-firms/paradis-remodeling-and-building-llc-pfvwus-pf~1669986370) — “4★ I had a vision to create two bathrooms from my one 1955 bath and 2.5 adjacent closets.
