The company says it has been in business 20 years and names Meriden, New Haven, Hartford, Bristol, Waterbury and Danbury as its service area. Its website lists home buyer, seller, radon, termite, septic, well water, mold and air quality, pool and spa, multi-family and commercial inspections. On Google it holds 5 stars across 107 ratings, and its Better Business Bureau grade is A+. A recent customer who had an older building inspected said Burt followed up with recommendations based on what he found. A recent customer whose building inspection was done that day said Burt walked them through everything he was seeing and never made them feel rushed. A 2024 customer said the inspection of a house in Winsted, Ct. took 4 hours and found a bonus room and fireplace in the basement. That 2024 customer said the report let them request repair estimates, which they used to bargain with the seller and get the house price reduced. A 2023 customer looking at a 1930 home said the inspection also covered a barn, and that the roof could not be examined because of sleet and snow. In 2023, a first-time buyer said Bert walked them through the basement to show where the utility shut-offs were. A 2022 customer said the inspection was estimated at 3-4 hours but was done within an hour, with the report sent within a few hours. Connecticut lists its home inspector licence, HOI.0001110, as active, held by Bertin Ducas. **Strengths:** - Sunday appointment — a 2026 customer was offered a Sunday morning slot - Quick report turnaround — a 2026 customer had it within an hour and a half - Repair recommendations — a recent customer got them after an older-building inspection - Price negotiation help — a 2024 customer got the house price reduced ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Holds 5 stars across 107 Google ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Paragon%20Property%20Inspections%20LLC.&query_place_id=ChIJ0QJTd8LL54kRLeTJ7prMAL8) — “Google: 5★ from 107 ratings” - Better Business Bureau grade of A+ _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/meriden/profile/home-inspection/paragon-property-inspections-llc-0111-87147065) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - Says it has been in business 20 years _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.paragoninspectionsct.com) — “Self-reported 20 years in business” - Names Meriden, New Haven, Hartford, Bristol, Waterbury and Danbury as its service area _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.paragoninspectionsct.com) — “Stated service area (self-reported): Meriden, New Haven, Hartford, Bristol, Waterbury, Danbury” - A 2026 customer was offered a Sunday morning appointment and had a report of nearly 100 pages within an hour and a half _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT213M1V6WmFUV05QVVVKUU0yMHdNRWRJWjNnMkxWRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xbf00cc9aeec9e42d!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOmw3UzZaTWNPUUJQM20wMEdIZ3g2LVE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Phenomenal experience from start to finish.
