# Paul Haggett & Company **Trade:** General Contractor / Remodeling · **Address:** 33 Russell St, Marblehead, MA 01945, USA · **Phone:** (781) 990-3804 · **Website:** http://www.haggettcompany.com/ · **Languages:** English **Rating: 3.2/5** (low confidence) — from 2 reviews across 5 sources. ## The honest read Paul Haggett & Company is a design-build remodeling and carpentry firm run out of Marblehead by its namesake owner, who leads estimating, permitting and his own crew directly. The self-reported history points to 30-plus years working North Shore kitchens, bathrooms, decks, additions and historic restorations, with 14 projects posted on Houzz ranging from $1,000 tune-ups to $200,000 full remodels. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor license (HIC #129828) is active on the state registry, held under Paul Haggett's own name. Houzz separately lists a construction supervisor number for the business. The written record is thin but consistent: in a 2019 Houzz review, a repeat client described being extremely satisfied across many projects and said they'd hire him again, calling the crew attentive and the results better than expected; a 2022 Google review called the work professional and knowledgeable on a high-end remodel. A good fit for a Marblehead-area homeowner planning a kitchen, bath, addition, or historic-home project who wants an owner-run crew rather than a large outfit — worth asking for references from a recent job, since the public reviews on file are a few years old. **Strengths:** - Registry-verified license — active Massachusetts HIC #129828 - Repeat clients — praised across many projects, would hire again - Owner-led — Paul Haggett runs estimating and his own crew ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Registry-verified license — active Massachusetts HIC #129828 _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://contractorhub.mass.gov/s/hic-contractor-search) — “MA hic license 129828 registry-verified active — registry holder of record: Paul Haggett” - Repeat clients — praised across many projects, would hire again _(confidence: medium)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/design-build-firms/paul-haggett-and-co-pfvwus-pf~940440471) — “5★ We have worked with Paul Haggett and Co. on many projects over the years.
