## The honest read

Two homeowners in this Monroe electrician's reviews had Oelo permanent outdoor lighting put on their houses — one in November 2024 covering 200 linear feet, done from extra-tall ladders in cold, windy weather when a lift could not be had. Peck Electrical Contracting Services LLC, at 755 Main St in Monroe, has 4.8 stars from 62 Google ratings, and its Connecticut electrical licence, ELC.0123488-E1, is active, held under Allan J Peck. The company's website says it has been licensed since 2016.

The other jobs customers describe are household ones. A January 2025 Google reviewer had a frame TV installed with its power box hidden, plus new lighting fixtures and outlets, with the crew working on Christmas Eve. In a July 2022 review, a customer said Jerry replaced a 1957 fuse box with a breaker box and handled the old BX cable well, with Felicia managing the appointment. A May 2026 reviewer said they have used the company multiple times.

One account goes the other way. In an August 2022 review on Angi, a senior customer wrote that she was charged for labor and material in a room where nothing was done, that the electrician took back extra material without adjusting the price, and that after he ran a new line for an air conditioner he left a basement outlet without its cover plate and did not answer her texts and emails asking when he would return. Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 3.6 stars from 4 ratings.

**Strengths:**
- Permanent holiday lighting — two Oelo installs, one covering 200 feet
- Old panel upgrades — 2022 review describes a 1957 fuse box replacement

**Concerns:**
- Billing and follow-up — 2022 review cites charges for undone work
