## The honest read

Peixoto Building Inc. is a Framingham general contractor whose Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. Houzz lists a wide-ranging remodeling and construction service list under the business — everything from kitchen and bathroom remodels to additions and new construction — though its Houzz profile currently shows as suspended.

The one written account on file, a 2019 Google review, describes Edson (of Peixoto Building) handling two separate projects for the same customer, calling him honest with reasonable prices and someone who finished what he started.

There isn't much else to go on — a single, six-year-old review and a suspended directory listing are thin signals. It's worth asking for recent references directly and confirming the Houzz account status before booking.

**Strengths:**
- Verified license — active Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor registration
- Praised for honesty — a 2019 review called pricing reasonable and jobs finished

**Concerns:**
- Suspended Houzz listing — profile currently shows as suspended
- Dated written record — the one review on file is from 2019
