That is the kind of yard work Peralta Landscaping LLC is hired for. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, number HIC.0663224, is active on the state registry under the name Peralta Landscaping LLC. A 2023 customer wrote that they hired the company for landscape work at their Old Saybrook home and met with Quiana Peralta, who manages the day-to-day operations for the family business, and her husband, Will, who does the work with other members of the family. That 2023 customer said the job covered resetting a garden border, refreshing landscaping stone, moving some large perennials, pruning a very large rhododendron and removing several small stumps. A 2025 customer, a realtor, said William and his crew handled brush removal, shrub and grass planting and a fence installation at their residential home. The same 2025 customer said they stepped in on short notice for a full leaf clean-up on 2+ acres. In a separate 2025 review, a customer said they had used Peralta for regular lawn maintenance for the past two years and called the rates very reasonable. A 2025 customer who hired Peralta to clean up their property and plant 20 green giants along the property line said the clean-up was well done but very expensive. That 2025 customer said the green giants were supposed to be 6-7' ball and burlap but ended up as scrawny plants in pots, that Peralta did not break open the root balls, and that SavaTree later identified bagworms on the plants. The same 2025 customer said Peralta did not want to address the tree problem and got quite angry, so they had Peralta remove the trees and stopped using the company. **Strengths:** - Stump and fence work — a recent customer described a maple stump pulled, fence put up - Garden border reset — a 2023 customer described border, stone and pruning work - Short-notice leaf clean-up — a 2025 customer described a full clean-up on 2+ acres - Regular lawn maintenance — a 2025 customer called the rates very reasonable **Concerns:** - Green giant planting — a 2025 customer said root balls were not broken open - Clean-up pricing — a 2025 customer called the clean-up well done but very expensive ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Connecticut home improvement contractor registration HIC.0663224 is active on the state registry, held by Peralta Landscaping LLC _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://www.elicense.ct.gov/Lookup/LicenseLookup.aspx) — “CT hic license HIC.0663224 registry-verified active — registry holder of record: PERALTA LANDSCAPING LLC” - 4.7 stars from 12 Google ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Peralta%20Landscaping%20LLC&query_place_id=ChIJg5yWE5Uj5okRyFxfhQPC9xQ) — “Google: 4.7★ from 12 ratings” - A recent customer said Will and his team pulled a huge maple stump, laid a site line and put up a natural fence _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT25weVEyTklUVkUzYXpZeU1VOTFjM000TUUxS1dtYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x14f7c203855f5cc8!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOnpyQ2NITVE3azYyMU91c3M4ME1KWmc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ We had our property surveyed and found more than we had before!!
