The company says it has been in business 10 years and lists a service area that runs from Lee, Durham and Barrington out to Rye, Hampton, Dover and Exeter. A recent customer said a four-man crew cut and removed two trees, one of them 75 feet, using a tracked hi-reach bucket vehicle in tight quarters, and that the job was scheduled on short notice. A recent customer had eight trees removed, some large and leaning over structures, with a crane, chipper and log truck on site. When a huge tree fell in one recent customer's yard on a Saturday, Phil came out that day to give an estimate and removed the tree on Monday. A 2025 customer said 15 trees were removed in about six hours and the job came in under quote. A 2025 reviewer wrote that a crane was brought out to remove several trees hanging directly over the house. In a 2025 review, a customer said Phil assessed a tree they had planned only to trim and recommended removal; when it came down, the inside was completely rotted. On Reddit, commenters in r/PortsmouthNH and r/newhampshire have recommended the company, one calling it very fairly priced. A recent customer got a quote within 24 hours of reaching out and was scheduled in a little under four weeks. **Strengths:** - Short-notice scheduling — a recent customer said the job was booked on short notice - Yard cleanup — a recent customer said they kept going until the yard was cleaned - Crane-assisted removal — a 2025 customer said a crane removed trees over the house ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Tree service based in Lee, NH _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2xaRVFqRnBkVTloVFhwR1ZVdzRiVFZ3ZDNSclFuYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xb2fe9911eb99eab2!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOlZEQjFpdU9hTXpGVUw4bTVwd3RrQnc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ I recently lost two trees and called Phil’s tree service and what I thought was his teenage daughter that turned out to be his wife I exp…” - The company says it has been in business 10 years and serves towns from Lee and Durham to Rye, Hampton, Dover and Exeter _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://philstreeseacoast.com) — “Self-reported 10 years in business” - [Official Website](https://philstreeseacoast.com) — “Stated service area (self-reported): Lee, Durham, Madbury, Barrington, Newmarket, Nottingham, Epping, Northwood, Newfields, Deerfield, Raymo…” - A recent customer said a four-man crew removed two trees, one 75 feet, with a tracked hi-reach bucket vehicle _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2pCR1gzZzFjVmxWVjJka2JrZGZSazlETnpGcVUzYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xb2fe9911eb99eab2!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOjBGX3g1cVlVV2dkbkdfRk9DNzFqU3c%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Today Phil's Tree Service cut and removed 2 trees (one 75 footer).
