## The honest read

Platinum Pools installs and works on inground pools, and Google shows 48 ratings at five stars.

A recent customer says Platinum put in a new filter in less than a week and cleaned up a set of piping that "looked like a bowl of spaghetti"; when a minor issue came up after installation, the installer came back the next day. A recent customer says Al and his crew were always on time and kept the job site clean and organized. A recent customer who had a pool installed says everything was done efficiently from start to finish.

A 2024 customer said the company was at their house the day they called and installed a new liner very soon after. A 2023 customer said the project took about 6-7 days, and that after a concrete patio was built they came back to close the pool and install the cover. A 2023 customer described the pool Al and Dan put in as a 17x34 heated salt water pool with an auto cover and deck jets.

A 2022 customer said rain interrupted a few work days but the job was done in less than 2 weeks, with permits and inspections organized. A 2022 customer said they called 17 different pool places during the busy opening season, and Al and Dan were the only ones who made them a priority and got the pool fixed.

Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0657726, as active, held by Platinum Pools LLC.

**Strengths:**
- A filter install — a recent customer says it took less than a week
- A clean job site — a recent customer says the crew kept it organized
- A next-day return — a recent customer says the installer fixed a minor issue
- A quick pool build — a 2022 customer said it took less than 2 weeks
