## The honest read

"One person shop" is how a 2025 Reddit commenter in r/newhampshire described James from Precise Electric, adding "Everything you need done to code and nothing you don't." James T Caperci holds New Hampshire electrician license 15686, active on the state registry. On HomeAdvisor, Precise Electric shows 4.9 stars from 42 ratings.

A 2023 customer said James called before they could call him and arrived less than an hour later to upgrade the power outlet for a new stove; while there, he rewired a light in the utility room and repaired several outdoor lamps and several outlets. A 2024 customer described two light fixtures in the kitchen and dining room replaced with new fixtures plus medallions, taking two hours. A 2024 reviewer wrote that James replaced a bunch of shot ~50s wiring and installed a new wall sconce with switch along with a new outlet. A 2025 customer said James coordinated power with the utility for updating the service entrance and cleaned up after.

A 2024 customer who used him for wiring a line for an electric range said he completed that job as planned and charged as agreed. That 2024 customer then paid a 50% deposit of $2250 for further upgrades and made multiple attempts to reach James by phone, text, email and voicemail with no response, though James later showed up on time and finished the work as he proposed. A 2025 customer said James did not show up when he said he would, and that the delays cost them thousands extra.

- Kitchen fixture replacement — a 2024 customer described new fixtures plus medallions
- Service entrance update — a 2025 customer said James coordinated power with the utility
