## The honest read

Precision Home Inspections LLC holds a 5-star rating on Google from 98 ratings. A recent customer described the owner, Dan, doing the inspection separately and then taking them to each area to explain and demonstrate the issues he found.

A recent buyer said the sellers agent wanted a ‘quick’ inspection, but Dan assured them the two of them would take their time and answered every question during the walkthrough. One customer said Dan thoroughly tested the well water system on their property. One buyer said Dan identified many items that would require attention and that they were able to obtain credits toward their closing. A customer moving into a new condo said the report arrived within a day, with lots of pictures taken. A customer buying a house with his wife said his services were priced very fairly.

A 2026 customer said a door-to-door salesperson had turned a gutter quote into a proposed $96,000 home renovation, and that Dan debunked most of the alarming claims while identifying a few legitimate items worth addressing. A 2026 customer said Dan returned to take another look at the roof once snowfall began to melt. A 2025 customer said Dan rearranged his schedule and got on the roof in a storm to accommodate their urgent needs. A 2025 customer said his report included icons marking which items would need replacement, which needed routine maintenance and which were simply informational. A 2024 customer said Dan spent over 3 hours at a regular-size house and checked all crawl spaces.

It holds an active Connecticut home inspector licence, HOI.0001225, under Daniel R Reemsnyder.
