## The honest read

Pride Exteriors Corp is a North Attleborough roofing business, and a 2020 Google review says they came out and put a new roof on the reviewer's home in one day. That 2020 review also read: "Quality work and very professional."

The business says its founder, Darren Shepard, started in building construction as a teenager and has been involved in building and construction management for over 30 years.

In a 2017 Google review, a customer who had Pride out to check a roof leak wrote that it turned out to be just a dryrotted stand pipe vent gasket, and that Darren charged an incredibly reasonable price and came out on a Saturday evening without the "typically massive weekend/after hours charge." In another 2017 Google review, a customer who called them out to check the roof at one of their houses wrote that they came back and said the roof still had 7 years left.

Its Better Business Bureau grade is A+, and Angi lists licence number 180438.

**Strengths:**
- One-day roof — a 2020 review: new roof put on in one day
- Honest roof check — in 2017, told a roof still had 7 years left
- No weekend surcharge — 2017 Saturday evening visit without the after-hours charge
- BBB A+ — its Better Business Bureau grade is A+
