## The honest read

Pura Softwash of Madison cleans house exteriors and roofs with a soft-wash system, and it holds 4.9 stars from 103 Google ratings.

On a cedar-sided house, a customer said softwash was applied to the siding and shakes and the porch and deck were power-washed; Cole and Josh arrived on schedule and worked without a break until the project was completed. A customer with a cedar home said decades of black streaking, mold and mildew came off. One homeowner wrote that the white siding looks like new and the roof lost its black streaking, and that the company was one of the few willing to do roof and solar, with roof cleaning guaranteed for a year.

When an unexpected issue came up during a roof and walkway cleaning, the customer said the company immediately got to work on a solution and stayed in constant contact. A customer who had siding power-washed said the company gives discounts for first responders. A 2026 customer said the soft wash took green algae and dirt off aging siding without damage and cleared algae from Trex decking, and that the written quote was the final price.

A 2025 customer said Jay and Tony soft-washed the home and roof, used the customer's own well water and brought an additional 200 gallons of water with them. A 2025 customer was happy with the service but said extra water in the garages caused clean-up problems and ruined area rugs. A 2024 customer said two workers spent just over 1.5 hours treating the roof and wrote that full removal of the black streaking could take up to a couple of months to show.

Its Better Business Bureau grade is C-, and the BBB lists one complaint.

Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0704221, as active, held by Pura Softwash.
