Its HomeAdvisor profile says it is locally owned and operated with more than 30 years of industry experience, and its site names a service area from Brookfield and Danbury to Torrington and Newtown. In an April 2024 Google review, a customer says Tim gave guidance on the fence options that fit their budget and the install came as promptly as agreed. An August 2024 customer says the team came for a repair on a miserably hot day and did not try to upsell them. In an August 2020 HomeAdvisor review, a customer says a storm brought branches down on their new fence a few weeks after it went in, without a scratch. A November 2020 customer says the installers conferred with them throughout, and the fence came out well enough that they moved it in front of their hedge. In a September 2023 HomeAdvisor review, a customer says the installation crew was "not the cleanest", and that of two small issues after the install, one was fixed quickly and the second took much longer. Another September 2023 HomeAdvisor reviewer says a gate problem was fixed at no extra cost. The state of Connecticut lists home improvement registration HIC.0698478, held by QUALITY FENCE INC, as active. On HomeAdvisor it has 4.9 stars from 26 ratings, and on Google 5 stars from 8. It suits a homeowner putting in or repairing a residential fence on a deadline. **Strengths:** - Deadline work — 2025 crew came on a Sunday to beat Easter - No upselling — 2024 repair customer says the team kept it a repair - Sturdy installs — 2020 fence took fallen storm branches unscratched **Concerns:** - Post-install fixes — 2023 customer says one issue took much longer ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - An April 2025 customer says Tim's crew worked on a Sunday after a rainy Saturday to finish before Easter _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChZDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnTURvOE52OFF3EAE!2m1!1s0x0:0xd300d1b6a43b7620!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgMDo8Nv8Qw%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Tim and his crew did an awesome job .
