In 2024, a customer said Kevin surveyed an old boiler and hot water heater, then led a day-long install of a Navien combination boiler, removed the old equipment, ran a new exhaust line and left the basement spotless. A 2025 customer said Kyle came out for a new propane furnace that had produced no heat for two days and found a frozen drainage pipe, with the problem resolved a little over an hour from the call. In 2023, a customer said Blake measured and customized duct work for a furnace and AC replacement in a basement only 4 feet high, and the job was done in one day. A 2025 customer said the company replaced a Rinnai on-demand water heater after finding a serious leak in the old one. A Reddit commenter in r/Connecticut said they have had good luck with Quality Propane and very good service. A recent customer said a driver's supply hose blocked a shared driveway and the driver refused to move it. A recent customer said the company canceled a formal contract and raised the price. A recent customer said the gas line and equipment installed for a generator kept over-cranking it and was told the wrong part had been installed. In 2026, a customer said their elderly mother ran out of propane and the company would not deliver until a past-due balance and a $205 leak inspection fee were paid. **Strengths:** - Boiler replacement — a 2024 customer said the basement was left spotless - Furnace no-heat call — a 2025 customer said it was resolved within about an hour - Tight-basement install — a 2023 customer said duct work was customized same day **Concerns:** - Contract canceled — a recent customer said the price was then raised - Generator gas line — a recent customer was told the wrong part was installed - Driveway blocked — a recent customer said the driver would not move his hose - Withheld delivery — a 2026 customer said fuel waited on a past-due balance ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - The company says it has been in business 46 years _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://qualitypropaneonline.com) — “Self-reported 46 years in business” - A 2024 customer described a day-long Navien combination boiler install that removed the old boiler and water heater _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChdDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUR6NThTeG93RRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xb961fe745ba8cc23!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgIDz58SxowE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ This review is about the installation of a Navien Combination Boiler/Hot Water Heater in our home by Quality Propane.
