A recent customer said Santos and R&A replaced their roof and flashing in Stamford, took care of all the permitting, shared high resolution drone photos as the work was taking place, and made sure the CO was issued less than a week after the job was complete. A recent customer with a stubborn leak over the portico said they came out quickly, walked through possible solutions, and were back less than a week later to fix it; heavy rain the next day left not a single drop on the porch. Santos Martinez remediated a chimney leak with a chimney dam, lead barrier and copper flashing, a recent customer wrote. A recent customer said R&A replaced two skylights and repaired the chimney flashing, and when a separate leak turned up from the chimney mortar, Santos applied waterproofing as a short-term fix. A recent customer had R&A fix leaks in a slate roof, do power washing and add copper to the peaks, with aerial photos of the work along the way. A 2025 customer with an all-copper roof said Santos explained the required repairs and the cost before the work. A 2025 customer said a full roof replacement started on a Monday and was done by that Thursday afternoon, with Santos contacting them each day with a progress report. A 2025 customer who lives in Texas said R&A sent pictures during the job on a new roof for their Stamford property. The company's website lists roof repairs, roof replacement, chimney caps and flashing, and copper work, and names a service area that includes Stamford, Darien, New Canaan, Greenwich, Westport and Ridgefield. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0660160, as active, held by R & A Remodeling & Roofing LLC. **Strengths:** - Permits handled — a recent customer said Santos took care of permitting - A portico leak fix — porch stayed dry in heavy rain the next day - Chimney leak work — chimney dam, lead barrier and copper flashing - Progress photos — drone and aerial shots shared while work was underway ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 5-star average across 143 Google ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=R%26A%20Remodeling%20%26%20Roofing&query_place_id=ChIJoyAbFAqhwokRhBQ7SsO2Ltw) — “Google: 5★ from 143 ratings” - A recent customer said Santos handled the permitting, shared drone photos during the work and saw the CO issued within a week of completion _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2xSdlp6ZHdaeTAxTURWNlgwcHNZMU5ZV0dwNWFXYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xdc2eb6c34a3b1484!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOlRvZzdwZy01MDV6X0psY1NYWGp5aWc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ I had a great experience dealing with Santos and R&A Remodeling and Roofing to replace my existing roof and flashing in Stamford Ct.
