R & K Roofing and Siding LLC holds 5 stars from 77 Google ratings and an A+ grade on its Better Business Bureau page, where it is listed as accredited. Its own website describes it as a family-owned business that has served Connecticut homeowners for more than twenty years. After wind damage and a roof leak, a recent customer called Roberto for a roof inspection and said Roberto and Kelly helped them through the entire insurance process before the new roof went on. A recent porch-addition customer described a multi-level flashing job around a large brick chimney, done in one day, with the new roof area matched to the older areas; a miscommunication over ridge vent installation was resolved without issue. A recent siding customer said every step of the work was explained and nothing was done without consulting them first. Roberto and his team rebuilt a recent customer's stairs and repaired some areas they noticed without being asked. A 2026 customer called about ice damming in the winter; that customer said Roberto came by at 7 pm the same day and showed up the next day with a crew to clear the snow and ice from the roof. A 2025 customer said R&K replaced their wind-damaged roof and was back later that year to upgrade the gutters. A 2024 customer said Roberto came within 15 minutes of the call and the pool shed roof was finished the same day, with new plywood, underlining, flashing and shingles. **Strengths:** - Insurance claim help — a recent customer said they guided the whole insurance process - Chimney flashing work — a recent porch roof was matched to the older areas - A clean job site — a recent customer said every bit of debris was picked up - Same-day shed roof — a 2024 customer said the job finished that day **Where sources disagree:** - The company's own website says it has served Connecticut homeowners for more than twenty years, while the same site lists 7 years in business. ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 5 stars from 77 Google ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=R%20%26%20K%20Roofing%20and%20Siding%20LLC&query_place_id=ChIJc25V5Vq2h4ARDnB29CHhQ7o) — “Google: 5★ from 77 ratings” - A+ grade and accredited on the Better Business Bureau _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/danbury/profile/roofing-contractors/r-k-roofing-and-siding-llc-0111-110088741) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/danbury/profile/roofing-contractors/r-k-roofing-and-siding-llc-0111-110088741) — “Better Business Bureau: accredited / certified / member” - Describes itself as a family-owned business serving Connecticut homeowners _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.randkroofingandsidingllc.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): R & K Roofing and Siding LLC has proudly served Connecticut homeowners for more than twenty years, providin…” - A recent customer said Roberto and Kelly guided them through the insurance process after wind damage and a roof leak _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT25GWVVVdDVRbU14ZVc0MFFVUjBiMDEyU0doYWNIYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xba43e121f476700e!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOnFYUUt5QmMxeW40QUR0b012SGhacHc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ We had wind damage and a roof leak, so we called Roberto for a roof inspection.
