## The honest read

R.P. Saxon is a three-person building outfit on Elm Street in Rehoboth, listed by BBB under home builders, with Margery Saxon as president and the person who takes customer calls. That same listing puts the start of the business at 1984.

The Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office has the company's Women Business Enterprise certification verified active, expiring 2028-12-06 — a certification that matters if you are a homeowner using a program, or a builder looking for a certified sub on a public job.

A sensible call if you want a small, long-standing local builder for a house or an addition around Rehoboth rather than a big remodeling company. Ask Margery Saxon which parts of the work the three-person crew does and which go to subcontractors, get the scope and payment schedule in writing, and ask for two or three recent jobs you can go look at.

**Strengths:**
- Certified women-owned — Massachusetts WBE certification verified active
- Long-standing builder — BBB lists a 1984 start in Rehoboth
- Small crew — three employees, with the president taking customer calls
