BuildZoom's profile places it in Cheshire. A recent Google customer who had a custom waterfront home built said the build process was much smoother than they had anticipated. A recent master bathroom renovation, with design by A Matter of Style, ran on a tight schedule, that customer wrote, and when water intrusion from extreme cold, heavy snowfall and gutter backup hit the house, the Ricci team helped them secure a contractor who came out immediately. A 2024 customer said John's team accommodated change orders with flexibility and fair pricing over a five-month addition, with periodic schedule updates along the way. A 2024 reviewer wrote that their new home went from tear down to finish in 8 months. A 2023 customer said John gave a timeline before their kitchen and downstairs renovation began and kept to it. A 2022 customer who had a basement remodel with a bathroom done said they had a schedule of which subcontractors were coming when, so they could plan each week. A 2024 customer who bought a house in PV in late 2022 that Ricci had just renovated said they had spent $35,000 to redo the new plumbing after many sewage backups, and described code violations with plumbing and electrical. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0548523, as active, held by Ricci Construction Group Inc. **Strengths:** - A kept timeline — a 2023 customer said John held to the promised schedule - Flexible change orders — a 2024 customer cited fair pricing on changes - Help with water intrusion — a recent customer said they found a contractor fast **Concerns:** - Redone plumbing — a 2024 buyer said they spent $35,000 after sewage backups ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Says it has been building and remodeling homes in Connecticut for nearly 40 years _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://ricciconstructiongroup.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Ricci Construction Group has been building and remodeling homes in Connecticut for nearly 40 years.
