## The honest read

Rob's Carpet Services installs, stretches and repairs carpet. The company says it has been in business 30 years and lists Fairfield, New Haven, Litchfield and Hartford as its service area. A recent customer said both rooms of carpet were re-stretched within a couple of hours, after they could not get the original installer back to do it. A recent customer said Robert and his team put new carpet down in an office and were communicative throughout.

A 2024 customer said Rob, his son and some of his grandchildren installed about 1,300 square feet of carpet, covering three bedrooms, a hallway and a stairwell, in a single day. That 2024 customer said they removed the old carpet and moved heavy solid cherry furniture without any damage.

A 2026 customer said Rob and his son restretched three rooms and a hallway. A 2023 customer said Rob and his son Steve repaired work that other carpet installers had messed up. A 2023 customer said they called in the morning and the company was at the house by noon to stretch a 14-year-old carpet. A 2022 customer said Rob and Steve helped when a carpet supplier messed up the order and drove over an hour out of their way to do so.
