A recent customer had Rob and his team repair an existing cedar fence and add new cedar fencing and chain link to make a secure area for two large dogs, and said the pricing was fair. A 2025 customer said they switched from a planned PVC fence to cedar after talking with Rob, changed the fence placement just before install, and had the whole project done in 3 days. A 2025 customer said Rob fabricated his own gates and kept them advised of his arrival time each day. A 2024 customer said Rob Thomas and coworkers Kenny and Carl installed over 40 sections of cedar stockade fence, left it closed each day, and relocated a shallow post hole to make the gate secure. A 2024 customer needed old gates and fencing removed, new gates built and installed, and a chain link fence secured at the bottom so the dogs could not escape; that 2024 customer said Rob got it done though the work was more extensive than first thought. A 2024 customer said Rob adjusted their automatic driveway gate and that it worked like new again. A 2021 customer said Rob Thomas had done fencing and tree removal on several properties they own over the years, and had cut and split wood to firewood length. A 2021 reviewer said the team installed a fence at their house three years earlier and came back that summer for tree work. A 2023 customer gave three stars, saying the project was delayed starting, the chain link fence was installed well, and the vinyl fence needed additional work because its posts were not even with the others. A 2023 customer mentioned a delay due to wet weather and said the two-man team left everything cleaned up. **Strengths:** - Cedar fence installs — a recent customer said the earlier fence still looks brand new - Gate fabrication — a 2025 customer said Rob fabricated his own gates - A three-day install — a 2025 customer said the whole project took 3 days - Fair pricing — a recent customer said the pricing was fair **Concerns:** - Uneven vinyl posts — a 2023 customer said posts were not even with others - A delayed start — a 2023 customer said the project started late ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A recent customer said Rob and his team installed cedar fencing for them in two straight years _(confidence: high)_ - [HomeAdvisor](https://www.homeadvisor.com/rated.robthomastreeservicefenceinstaller.159217394.html) — “5★ This is the second time I’ve had Rob and his team install cedar fencing.
