## The honest read

Rockborn Electric holds a 5-star Google rating from 222 ratings.

A recent customer who put snow heating pads under a new patio said Rockborn wired up the system, ran conduit to the breaker and installed the snow sensor 30 feet up on the roof. That customer said the job cost more than they imagined, but after seeing all that was entailed, it was less than it probably should have been. A recent customer said Rich and his crew added electrics and wiring to two external boxes for mini-splits. A recent customer said Rich and his crew installed their EV charger and showed up quick.

A recent customer said Rich and the guys replaced a fuse box and accessory panels with 18 circuits in a new 100-amp breaker subpanel, as a relatively last-minute request, and tidied up after. A recent customer said they switched out outlets and trimmed back bushes so the meter work could be completed, at no extra charge.

A 2026 customer said they showed up an hour after the call and had the circuit back up and running. A 2026 reviewer described a service upgrade, meter replacement, panel upgrade and new wiring for a compactor at the Andover, NH Transfer Station, and said Rich coordinated with NHEC. In a 2025 review, a customer said Rockborn installed an interlock kit, wiring and an outlet for a home back-up generator, with Ed and Grant doing the installation.

**Strengths:**
- A panel upgrade — a recent customer got a new 100-amp subpanel
- Snow-melt wiring — a recent customer said they mounted a roof snow sensor
- A fast callout — a 2026 customer said they came an hour after calling
- No-charge extras — a recent customer said bushes were trimmed for meter work
