Within 10 minutes Ben called back, and a few hours later Ben and his workers removed the debris from the roof and secured the holes with a tarp and firing strips. Once insurance approved everything, that customer said Ben and his wife Kara took care of a new roof, new siding, new windows and new gutters. A recent customer named Ben as the owner. One recent customer said the roofing foreman, Andre, had his crew strip the roof in less than 2 hours, and that they rebuilt the second-floor chimney. A recent roof and skylight customer called the pricing fair. On the siding side, a recent customer said the company matched the existing siding on a house over 30 years old and extended the work into an extra day to address their concerns. A 2025 customer said the company replaced the roof and gutters on both a home and a garage, finishing each building in two days. A 2023 customer said Ben's employees finished close to 30 squares of roof in one day, and that Ben advised against new gutters, saying 95% of them were in decent condition. In a 2021 Thumbtack review, a customer said Ben put together a roof replacement in less than 24 hours ahead of Hurricane Henri. The company lists service towns including Thomaston, Bristol, Torrington and Naugatuck, and its BBB page shows an A+ grade. The work is not only exterior: a 2021 Thumbtack customer described a basement finished into a two-bedroom, one-bath in-law suite, with Ben adding a range, sink and cabinets. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0654360, as active, held by Benjamin Rodrick. **Strengths:** - Storm response — a callback within 10 minutes on a Sunday morning - Siding matching — matched existing siding on a 30-plus-year-old house - A fast tear-off — a roof fully stripped in under 2 hours - Fair pricing — a recent roof and skylight customer praised the price **Concerns:** - Estimate follow-up — a BBB reviewer complained about an estimate request ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - After a tree fell on a customer's house, Ben called back within 10 minutes and he and his workers tarped the roof the same day _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT25aV2JrNW1lVXN4VEZCSlptNUNUV2hFT0VaMFRVRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xa132864331cc0183!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOnZWbk5meUsxTFBJZm5CTWhEOEZ0TUE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ We woke up to a heavy rain and wind storm, a tree fell on our house and did damage to both roof and siding.
