## The honest read

Romano Overhead Door installs and repairs garage doors, openers and springs. It averages 4.8 stars from 31 Google ratings, and its Better Business Bureau grade is A+. The company's website says it has been in business 81 years and offers free estimates and 24/7 emergency service. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 214918, is active on the state registry.

A recent customer whose house is 80 years old said Romano made fitting new insulated garage doors look easy, and called the estimate clear and the pricing reasonable. A 2024 customer said a technician named Mike installed a new opener and fixed the cables, pulleys and springs in about an hour and a half. In a 2024 review, a customer wrote that Mike came on schedule, showed where the root of the garage door problem was, then repaired and tested it at a price that matched the estimate. A 2024 customer who asked for a quote to fix two garage bays said the work was done on the day promised and came in exactly on the quote, with an itemized invoice paid online.

A 2023 customer said AJ took care of their garage door springs, with transparent pricing and no surprise costs. A 2023 customer whose garage door had stopped opening said Romano fixed the issues and upgraded the spring system, and the banging sound when opening or closing stopped. In a 2022 review, a customer described a 16-foot insulated door with windows down the left side installed by AJ and Bob, and said the company worked around their unpredictable renovation schedule.
