The company describes itself as a locally owned roofing contractor working on complex residential roofs in Fairfield County, CT and Westchester County, NY, and says it has been in business 20 years. A recent customer who interviewed five roofers had the roof and gutters replaced; they say the company replaced all the flashings rather than reusing them, used copper flashing in many areas, and inspected the attic. That customer says the job started on schedule and came in at cost. A recent customer had a slate roof and leaded gutters repaired and says the quoting was clear and the one or two small issues during the job were dealt with promptly. A recent customer says Filipo and crew diagnosed a roof problem and fixed it. In a 2023 review, a customer said Eric's crew replaced a cedar shake roof, including hand bent copper flashing, drip edges and valleys. A 2023 customer said that when a leak worried them ahead of a rain storm, a small crew was laying a tarp over the area within 3 hours. A 2023 customer whose roof was damaged by a fallen tree said Eric helped with the insurance adjuster and identified errors in the insurer's assessment before the repair. Siding is part of the work too. A 2024 customer said the company replaced their roof and siding with James Hardie shingles, and a 2024 customer said Eric's team sided their house with clean-up after the work. In a 2024 review, a customer said they were skeptical because the price was considerably lower than three other proposals, and said they had received the warranties after a Mule Hide roof coating was completed. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0659837, as active, held by Roofing Solutions of CT LLC. **Strengths:** - Copper flashing — a recent customer said many areas got copper flashing - Clear quoting — a recent customer said the quoting on a slate repair was clear - Storm response — a 2023 customer said a crew tarped a leak within 3 hours ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 5-star Google average across 81 ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Roofing%20Solutions%20of%20CT%2C%20LLC&query_place_id=ChIJwRv1p48d6IkRXUd2vut-j28) — “Google: 5★ from 81 ratings” - Describes itself as a locally owned roofing contractor working on residential roofs in Fairfield County, CT and Westchester County, NY _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.roofingsolutionsofct.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): We are a locally owned and operated roofing contractor specializing exclusively in complex residential roof…” - Says it has been in business 20 years _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.roofingsolutionsofct.com) — “Self-reported 20 years in business” - BBB grade of A+ _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/norwalk/profile/roofing-contractors/roofing-solutions-of-ct-llc-0111-110085312) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - A recent customer had the roof and gutters replaced, with all flashings replaced and copper flashing in many areas _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT201VVNYSkdRVkZWVTJVMlRHVllRamxKT0V0cGJtYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x6f8f7eebbe76475d!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOm5USXJGQVFVU2U2TGVYQjlJOEtpbmc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ I just got my roof and gutters replaced by Roofing Solutions of Connecticut and they did a fantastic job.
