## The honest read

Seven of Rosado Landscaping & Design's Google reviews describe drainage work — a curtain drain along one side of a house with a damp basement in August 2026, a drainage system for another homeowner in October 2026, a rebuilt drainage system with leaf guards in January 2024. The Milford company lists excavation and site work, landscape design, patios, hardscaping, fencing, artificial turf, tree removal and drainage on its site and claims 15 years in business. Two reviewers, in 2023 and 2025, describe it as veteran-owned, and a 2024 reviewer calls Victor the owner; he is named in more than twenty reviews.

The bigger jobs are outdoor rebuilds. An August 2026 customer had a vinyl fence, an aluminum fence, a patio and a drainage system installed, and said Victor kept in constant contact. In a May 2025 review, a homeowner described drainage work plus split rail fencing replaced with custom-fitted cedar logs, new landscaping stone and replaced capstones on stairs between retaining walls. An October 2024 customer got a retaining wall, two patios and a fire pit; a September 2025 reviewer said a team of six worked five full days on a backyard patio. Smaller jobs show up too — site prep for a garden shed in three hours in September 2026, nine privacy trees planted in August 2025.

There are complaints. In June 2024, one person said Victor never showed for a scheduled consultation, and a July 2024 reviewer said no estimate came after a site visit and a follow-up call. An October 2023 four-star review said the estimate was unrealistic and had to be adjusted for the size of the job, though the crew added a free aeration to make up for it. The oldest complaint, a 2021 HomeAdvisor review, said a $36k landscaping job left several trees needing to be replanted and another landscaper had to redo the work.

It holds 4.8 stars from 62 Google ratings and 4.9 from 34 on HomeAdvisor. Rosado Landscaping & Design LLC holds an active Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0659457.

**Strengths:**
- Drainage fixes — seven reviews describe drains and regrading, 2023 to 2026
- Hardscape builds — patios, retaining walls and a fire pit
- Communication — several customers say Victor kept in close contact

**Concerns:**
- Missed follow-ups — 2024 reviews cite a no-show and an estimate never sent
- Estimate accuracy — a 2023 quote was adjusted upward for job size
