## The honest read

Rose Brothers Landscaping describes itself on Angi as specializing in construction and repairs, saying it takes the time to do things the right way.

In a 2009 review, a customer said Chris landscaped their pool patio, came back with a reasonable estimate in a short time and came quickly. Another 2009 review said Chris removed some hedging, regraded the area and planted 9 arborvitaes, and did not skimp on any of the products he used. In a 2009 review, a customer said Chris ground down their stumps, made an area with stone and shrubs and made a walkway with stone, all done in a couple of days. A 2009 reviewer said Chris Rose spent as much time as necessary to help them determine the solution and completed the work in a timely fashion, with the lowest of the estimates they received.

In a 2010 review, a customer said Chris contacted them promptly, was up front about the time frame and gave a fair price, and when the weather threatened the timeline he came early to get the most visible parts of the job done. Another 2010 review said Chris was gracious about a misunderstanding over when to produce the plants and completed the job on schedule.

In a 2011 review, a customer said they did a nice job repairing the wall but a poor job rebuilding the walkway, with many of the stones coming loose, and that their attempts to contact Chris were unsuccessful.

**Strengths:**
- Weather-driven scheduling — a 2010 customer said Chris came early
- Planting work — a 2009 review described nine arborvitaes planted after regrading

**Concerns:**
- Loose walkway stones — a 2011 review said many stones came loose
- Follow-up contact — a 2011 customer could not reach Chris afterward
