The company says it has been in business 20 years and serves homeowners in Portsmouth, Hampton, Rye, Exeter, Stratham and the greater New Hampshire Seacoast and Southern Maine areas, and it offers free estimates. A 2025 customer said their bathroom needed to be completely gutted and rebuilt, and that Kelly discussed every detail with them early on. A 2025 customer wrote that Kelly creates design boards and coordinates all the trade partners involved, and that the job brought new quartz countertops and a farmhouse sink. A 2025 customer said Kelly and Ben redid their deck at a rate better than the local "deck experts." In 2024, a customer described a small kitchen project to replace a countertop and install a new vent hood venting outside with a make-up air system, and said the company came back within a few days for a small drinking faucet issue. A 2024 review from Hard Rock Tile & Stone said it installed the kitchen backsplash on a Rothrock kitchen remodeling project in Dover, NH. A 2023 customer said Rothrock Carpentry renovated two separate bathrooms, replaced the kitchen and front foyer floor, and made structural repairs in the basement in support of those projects, with pricing competitive with other estimates. A 2023 customer said Kelly and Ben added built-in cabinetry to a wall to house a TV and audio system and built a new closet space in a mud room. **Strengths:** - A gutted bathroom — a 2025 customer said it was completely gutted and rebuilt - Design boards — a 2025 customer said Kelly creates them to plan the job - A quick return visit — a 2024 customer said they came back within days ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 5 stars from 17 Google ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Rothrock%20Kitchen%20%26%20Bath%20Remodeling&query_place_id=ChIJgUiy0ErTW0QRLg6sVCVPTDA) — “Google: 5★ from 17 ratings” - A recent customer described a complete renovation of a kitchen, floors and stairs _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2pBdGRFUjRhWFptUTBZM1gzRTBTVU5FVUdKNllXYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x304c4f2554ac0e2e!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOjAtdER4aXZmQ0Y3X3E0SUNEUGJ6YWc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Working with Rockrock was a dream.
