## The honest read

Rowley Fuels & Propane sells fuel oil, kerosene, propane and diesel, according to its BBB listing, where its grade is A+. A 2024 customer said they forgot to call for fuel and a delivery came at 8:30 at night in a snow storm, and that they also bled the lines so sludge would not get into the furnace. The company's website describes installation, burner servicing and repairs for oil and propane heating and hot water equipment, and it says it has been in business 46 years.

A 2024 customer said Garret had a crew at a construction site in one business day to inspect a customer-owned tank; the crew found a leak, and the customer said a replacement tank was brought back before the excavator left. A 2023 customer who had dealt with the company for over 30 years said it switched their heating from oil to propane in a timely fashion. A 2024 customer said Kayden located the problem with a failing tankless hot water heater, cleaned out the unit and reset the equipment. A 2024 customer said they showed up a day early for no extra charge when the customer was running very low.

A 2025 customer who ran out of propane said a delivery came within a few hours of the emergency call, but repeated calls asking management to explain the run-out went unreturned. A 2024 customer said the company refused to clean their furnace because they had not bought fuel from it in four years. A 2023 reviewer wrote that an 80-year-old woman on a fixed income was told the company would come disconnect if she did not have all the money, and that it kept delivering after she asked it to deliver only when she needed it. A 2022 customer said the owner did not take responsibility after his driver ran into their security system while filling their propane tank. A 2021 customer said a fuel tank inspection was canceled twice within hours of the appointment before a third one went ahead.

A 2026 wcax.com report described petroleum product from Rowley Fuels Inc. overflowing from a fuel delivery truck during a transfer at its storage facility.
