Last 6 months: 0 reviews, 0 negative. ## The honest read Royal Landscaping Inc. is a West Dennis outfit built around one name: Roderick Wright, whom customers across dozens of Google reviews just call 'Roderick' or 'Rodrick.' Google shows a 4.9★ average from 58 ratings, and Thumbtack's smaller profile backs it up — a perfect 5.0 from 2 reviews, background-checked, with 4 employees and 6 years in business. Routine mulching, hedge and shrub trimming, and spring and fall yard cleanups come up again and again in the reviews, and reviewers also describe tougher one-off projects: in a 2024 review, a homeowner described the crew regrading a severely sloping yard and driveway, installing fencing and laying sod, and in a 2023 review, another described clearing an overgrown hydrangea garden root and all before rototilling and releveling the soil. A recurring theme is responsiveness — several customers describe getting a fast estimate or being kept updated through weather delays rather than left waiting. The business also self-reports running a second, subscription-based brand at the same phone number and address, Wright's Property Care, offering recurring lawn maintenance, snow removal, property management, and one-off stonework, disposal and interior painting. The record isn't spotless: one reviewer, in a 2024 post, called the experience simply 'terrible' with no further detail, and a 2023 four-star review describes a mix-up where a well-meaning neighbor did the yardwork before the crew arrived — Roderick still came out and trimmed the hedges anyway, and the reviewer recommended him regardless. For a Cape homeowner who wants a lawn-care crew that shows up, stays in touch through delays, and can also take on a bigger regrading or fencing job, this is a closely-run local operation with a deep, consistent written record behind it. **Strengths:** - Handles bigger projects — regraded a sloping yard and installed fencing in a 2024 job - Detail-oriented crews — cleared an overgrown hydrangea garden in a 2023 job - Highly responsive — customers cite fast estimates and steady updates through delays - Strong track record — 4.9★ across 58 Google reviews, verified on Thumbtack **Concerns:** - Isolated low review — called 'terrible' in a 2024 post with no detail given ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Google reviews show a 4.9★ average from 58 ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://maps.google.com/?cid=5119319428110343902&g_mp=CiVnb29nbGUubWFwcy5wbGFjZXMudjEuUGxhY2VzLkdldFBsYWNlEAIYBCAA) — “Google: 4.9★ from 58 ratings” - Thumbtack lists it as background-checked with 4 employees and 6 years in business _(confidence: high)_ - [Thumbtack](https://www.thumbtack.com/ma/west-dennis/lawn-care/royal-landscaping-inc/service/477981751790108675) — “Genuine Thumbtack profile for this business: 'Royal Landscaping inc', West Dennis MA 02670, 5.0 from 2 reviews, hired 4 times, background ch…” - Self-reports also operating a subscription-based property-care brand, Wright's Property Care, at the same phone number and address _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://wrightlandscaping.mydurable.com) — “A West Dennis, MA property-care company selling subscription memberships for recurring lawn maintenance, automatic snow removal and full pro…” - In a 2024 review, a homeowner described the crew regrading a sloping yard and driveway, installing fencing and laying sod _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChZDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUNMdEtqWU9REAE!2m1!1s0x0:0x470b79e58445dede!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgICLtKjYOQ%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ Very good experience.
