# Royal Painting & Building **Trade:** House Painting · **Phone:** (774) 441-3035 · **Website:** https://royalspaintingco.com/contact/ · **Languages:** English **Rating: 3.9/5** (medium confidence) — from 14 reviews across 4 sources. 100% of sentiment-scored reviews read net-positive. Last 6 months: 0 reviews, 0 negative. ## The honest read Royal Painting & Building is Leandro's solo operation, working out of Brockton — the company he opened in 2018 after starting in the painting trade in 2012, and he says he still estimates and paints every job himself. The thing that stands out across five years of Google reviews is the prep work. Reviewers keep describing the same routine: scraping, sanding, priming, sometimes caulking every gap along the clapboard, before he ever opens a can of paint. In a 2024 review, one homeowner wrote that after multiple previous painters, none came close to how thoroughly he prepped their exterior. A 2021 review described a cathedral-ceiling living room, hallway and bathroom repainted with the same care, right down to vacuuming up afterward. Repeat business shows up again and again — several reviewers mention hiring him multiple times over the years, for interior and exterior painting, kitchen cabinets, stairs, deck staining and power washing. A 2023 reviewer specifically credited Julia with responsive scheduling and billing alongside Leandro's work. Google shows 31 ratings behind the company, and the 14 reviews on file, dating back to 2021, run entirely positive — cabinets, whole-house repaints, exteriors weathering rain and humidity, all described the same way: careful, unhurried, and cleaned up after. Since it's a one-person operation, the main thing to plan around is his schedule — a solo painter doing his own estimating and painting means booking ahead, especially for a full exterior job. **Strengths:** - Thorough prep work — scraping, sanding, priming and careful masking praised repeatedly - Repeat customers — several reviewers say they've rehired him for multiple projects - Responsive scheduling — reviewers note reliable communication and on-time work ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Reviews repeatedly describe thorough prep work — scraping, sanding, priming and caulking before painting _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChZDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUNuMXV5U1hnEAE!2m1!1s0x0:0x176dc978731755b7!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgICn1uySXg%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ Leandro ( Royals Painting Company) did a fantastic job painting the outside of my home from start to finish.
