Last 6 months: 2 reviews, 0 negative. ## The honest read RP3 Electric holds a 5-star Google rating from 14 ratings. A recent customer had an outdated 100-amp setup of two old panels upgraded to a current panel, along with a whole-home surge protector, a 30-amp generator inlet outside, a new mudroom outlet and three dedicated circuits. That customer said Ryan was on time, explained the work as he went, and that they put down a drop cloth and cleaned up after themselves. A sub panel for an unfinished basement moved quickly: Ryan came out to assess and gave an estimate the same weekend he was contacted, and the job was done the following week. In a 2026 review, a customer who hired Ryan to install a Tesla Wall Connector in Wallingford said he helped choose the charger placement so the cable reached the port, and left the garage cleaner than he found it. A 2026 customer said Ryan installed an EV charging system, ran the wiring a long distance from source to equipment, and estimated the cost accurately. A 2026 customer described having all the outlets and light switches replaced in a 70s house because of bad wiring and safety issues, plus a TV mount and a recessed outlet, and called the prices fair. A 2026 customer named the owner as Ryan Nelson and said RP3 installed recessed lighting and new light fixtures and replaced and upgraded all the outlets. A 2026 review came from a customer who develops single-family homes and said they trust RP3 with all of the electrical work. In a 2025 review, a customer whose main power wire and meter were ripped off the house by a fallen tree said Ryan was in the driveway within 10 minutes and an estimate was written out the same night. That 2025 customer said Ryan and his crew were on the job by the next day, and that Ryan lent a generator for the night to keep the fridge and freezer working. **Strengths:** - A panel upgrade — a recent customer had two old panels replaced - A quick estimate — a recent customer was assessed the same weekend - A Tesla charger install — a 2026 customer said the garage was left cleaner - A fast emergency call — a 2025 customer said Ryan arrived within 10 minutes ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 5-star Google rating from 14 ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=RP3%20Electric&query_place_id=ChIJgTvnL36DMgQRg_scGStbFcs) — “Google: 5★ from 14 ratings” - Replaced two old 100-amp panels with a current panel and added a surge protector, generator inlet and dedicated circuits _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT21odE16TmpOVXhJU0VrelRVOUxURFZmZVRZM1gyYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xcb155b2b191cfb83!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOmhtMzNjNUxISEkzTU9LTDVfeTY3X2c%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Ryan & his team came out today to upgrade my outdated 100amp panel mess (2 extremely old panels with crazy wiring) to a current day panel…” - Assessed and estimated a basement sub panel the same weekend it was requested, then installed it the following week _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2pkVVgxbFlNMGQxZFZGUkxVbHdXbTl2ZDNob05VRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xcb155b2b191cfb83!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOjdUX1lYM0d1dVFRLUlwWm9vd3hoNUE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ I contacted Ryan at RP3 Electric to inquire a sub panel installation in our unfinished basement on a Friday and by the same weekend he ca…” - EV charger installs, including a Tesla Wall Connector in Wallingford and a long wiring run for an EV charging system _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2paaVlqRjNiRzlpVmtOQ00wUldUa2xwWTIwemJsRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xcb155b2b191cfb83!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOjZiYjF3bG9iVkNCM0RWTklpY20zblE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Ryan installed our EV CHARGING SYSTEM.
