Its website lists a service area that includes Cheshire, New Haven, Hartford, Fairfield, Litchfield, Middlesex, New London, Tolland and Windham, and the company says it has been in business 40 years. Its BBB page is an A+ and lists it as accredited. One customer describes a military move with a full household pack-out where the washer and dryer were missed; after they contacted RT Relocation, the pair were picked up the following morning and added to the truck. A customer moving a whole house from Connecticut to an apartment in New Jersey wrote that Leandro and his team were punctual and organized. One customer says the walls and stairwells were protected and the job came in exactly as quoted. A business that hired RT Relocation for an office relocation wrote that the move covered countless boxes and file cabinets plus disposing of unwanted furniture. A customer wrote that a sales agent pushed an estimate the customer called double what was needed, so two box trucks came for one box truck's worth of items, and that the full amount was charged a couple days before the move. A customer reported that movers scuffed the home's walls and damaged furniture, that a request for help after the move was redirected to a third party, and that one of the crew did not work for the company. A 2025 customer said RT asked for 3.5 hours beyond the six hours quoted and offered a $100 discount on the extra charge. A 2023 customer said every box they unpacked had a broken item in it. A 2022 customer who moved in a time crunch said they thought they were charged for more hours than the move took. A 2022 customer said they moved over 700 miles and not one thing was broken or scratched. A 2023 customer said RT Relocation promised to come in 2 hours and did. In 2022, a Reddit commenter in r/Connecticut named RT Relocation, alongside CT Moving, as "class acts." **Strengths:** - A quick fix — missed washer and dryer picked up the following morning - Price as quoted — a customer said the job came in exactly as quoted - Wall protection — a customer said walls and stairwells were protected **Concerns:** - Estimate size — a customer said two trucks came for one truck's load - Extra hours billed — a 2025 customer was asked for 3.5 more hours - A damage report — a customer reported scuffed walls and damaged furniture ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 798 Google ratings averaging 4.9 stars _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=RT%20Relocation&query_place_id=ChIJL2Ft23rJ54kRMghKpTYh9yM) — “Google: 4.9★ from 798 ratings” - Its website lists a service area including Cheshire, New Haven, Hartford, Fairfield, Litchfield, Middlesex, New London, Tolland and Windham _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://rtmoversct.com) — “Stated service area (self-reported): Cheshire, Fairfield County, Hartford County, Litchfield County, Middlesex County, Tolland County, Windh…” - Says it has been in business 40 years _(confidence: low)_ - [Official Website](https://rtmoversct.com) — “Self-reported 40 years in business” - A+ grade on its BBB page, listed as accredited _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/cheshire/profile/moving-companies/rt-relocation-llc-0111-87141043) — “Better Business Bureau: accredited / certified / member” - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/cheshire/profile/moving-companies/rt-relocation-llc-0111-87141043) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - A customer said a missed washer and dryer were picked up the following morning and added to the truck _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2tWc2VXdEJOVGxpUTFBNE5uaGtjVFJOWDBoemNsRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x23f72136a54a0832!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOkVseWtBNTliQ1A4NnhkcTRNX0hzclE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ We had a great experience with RT Relocation during our military move and full household pack-out from June 15–17.
