## The honest read

When a large pine tree fell on one family's house during a thunderstorm, the recent Google reviewer said Trevor and his team responded quickly and took care to ensure there was no further damage to the house. Rustic Rose Landscaping LLC describes itself on its website as a landscape and excavation company, listing mowing, mulching, trimming maintenance, lawn installations, topsoil work, excavation and light masonry. A recent customer named Trevor as the owner and said he came out personally to help with an unexpected landscape issue and that his pricing was more than fair.

A recent customer had two retaining walls, walkways and a patio added, with trees planted and rock added. On one property, a recent customer said Rustic Rose scraped off bad soil and weeds beside the driveway, replaced it with topsoil and grass seed, graded it, moved large boulders, created a berm and planted Green Giant trees. A recent customer described a new lawn installation, land grading and new mulch beds, and said the crew worked the entire time in the rain and was careful not to damage the existing lawn. A local real estate agent wrote recently that Trevor transformed a neglected yard on very short notice for one of the agent's buyers.

A recent customer said they weeded and mulched the front beds and arrive every week to maintain the lawn. In a 2025 review, a customer said Trevor and his crew cleared dead shrubs and small trees and reinstalled and leveled a front lawn full of crabgrass and ruts.

Trevor also works on small engines. A recent customer said he came quickly to fix an issue with a riding mower and took the time to explain what he was doing. A 2026 customer said that when their snowblower broke down at the height of a storm, Trevor and his staff arrived at 7:30 in the evening, cleared and salted the driveway, and fixed the snowblower on the spot.

Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0706331, as active, held by Rustic Rose Landscaping LLC.
