## The honest read

Ryans Painting Plus Carpentry and Handyman Services is listed in Plymouth and advertises painting, carpentry, and handyman work. BuildZoom shows one customer review, dated August 2024, for a $15,000 exterior-trim and painting repair.

That homeowner described repeated lateness, poor work that required another contractor to fix at double the cost, and unanswered calls and emails about a promised partial refund. The profile also shows a 1-star rating, a BuildZoom score of 0, and an unverified license with no active license on file.

If you consider them, ask for current licensing information, a detailed written scope, and references for comparable trim and painting jobs before booking.

**Concerns:**
- Work quality — 2024 homeowner required another contractor to redo work
- Scheduling — homeowner reported repeated lateness
- License status — BuildZoom lists no active license on file
