Reviews name Sal, with Sam alongside him in the earlier reviews. The written record runs 2017–2024. The recent jobs are bigger. In an October 2024 Google review, a customer listed several projects at their house: a master bathroom revamp, a parlor turned into a bedroom with a full bath, a 400-foot driveway paved, a new porch and steps and a recording studio built into the basement, done on time at good prices. Another October 2024 reviewer said Sal remodeled a bathroom and repaired serious cracks in the living room walls, and a 2023 review describes replacing wood decks along with rotted substructure, with Sal on the job supervising. The older Angi reviews tell similar stories. In a 2017 review, a bathroom started on a Wednesday was done the following Monday, two days before the contract date. In a 2018 review, a customer said Sal and Sam returned an estimate in two days, rearranged their schedule to fit the job in before the holidays and worked nights and weekends to finish on time. There is one complaint. In a December 2018 Angi review, a customer said a bathroom sink came off its wall mount a few months after installation because of the bolts used, and the customer re-mounted it themselves. A 2019 review said a demo and room expansion took slightly longer than expected. It holds 4 stars from 8 Google ratings and 4.8 stars from 26 ratings each on HomeAdvisor and Angi, and its BBB grade is A+. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0648693, is active on the state registry. **Strengths:** - Bathroom remodels — seventeen Google and Angi reviews describe bathroom work - On-schedule finishes — a 2017 bath was done two days early - Larger projects — a 2024 review lists a driveway, porch and studio **Concerns:** - Sink mounting — a 2018 reviewer's sink came off the wall ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Seventeen Google and Angi reviews describe bathroom work _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChdDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSURuLTVqY19nRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x31f3f8e6d344bdcf!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgIDn-5jc_gE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ S&S has been the contractor for several big projects at my house, including revamping the master bedroom bathroom, reconfiguring a parlor…” - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChdDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSURudWZleWtRRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x31f3f8e6d344bdcf!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgIDnufeykQE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Remodeling a room can be a challenge, especially a bathroom but Sal simplified the process of remodeling the bathroom as well as the repa…” - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChZDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUNIcjUzZ0ZREAE!2m1!1s0x0:0x31f3f8e6d344bdcf!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgICHr53gFQ%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “4★ Sal and his crew did a wonderful job on our bathroom renovation!
