## The honest read

S.P. O'Toole Electric is an electrical business in Foxborough.

In a 2024 review, a customer wrote that Mr. O'Toole installed a high voltage outside car charger for their new electric vehicle, recommended a hardwired connection rather than adding a 220 V outlet, and labeled each component with the respective breaker number and voltage. A 2024 review of an electric vehicle charging station installation says Stephen offered helpful insight into the permitting nuances around amperage and avoiding a panel upgrade. In a 2023 review, a customer wrote that Stephen installed a Tesla wall connector and showed how to operate the switches and the equipment. In a separate 2023 review, a customer wrote that Stephen was upfront about his pricing and timelines and that, as he worked alone, he might not have been as fast as a large company.

In a 2016 review, a customer wrote that Stephen O'Toole installed a ceiling fan in their master bedroom, brought new clear plastic tarp to cover the furniture, vacuumed the room when done, and came in with a final cost below his estimate. In a 2016 review, a customer who called Steve about outlets not working after using a vacuum and AC unit wrote that he figured that out quickly, noticed a problem with their 40-year-old smoke detectors and fixed a recessed can light in the kitchen.

In a 2015 review, Steve installed a new switch for an overhead light and came on a Saturday to fit the job in quickly. In a 2014 review, a customer wrote that Steve installed 4 ceiling fans in their house on a cost estimate they called very reasonable. A 2014 review says Steve installed two lines for the electric dryer and washer in a basement. In a 2014 review, a customer wrote that after a tree fell and they lost power, he called the inspector late in the evening, called the electric company and stayed late until the electric company arrived.

**Strengths:**
- EV charger installs — car charger and Tesla connector installed, 2023 and 2024
- Ceiling fan installs — four fans in 2014, a bedroom fan in 2016
- Tidy work — covered furniture and vacuumed the room, per a 2016 review
