## The honest read

Saccuzzo Asphalt & Sons says it has paved driveways since 2001, digging, grading, compacting and paving with its own equipment and its own people. It lists Harrison, Bridgton, Naples, Sebago, Casco and Brunswick as its service area.

A recent Google customer needed a driveway, turn-around and walkways paved; they said Jim came out within a week of the call to quote, and he and his crew, including his father, had the job done within a few hours. A recent customer said Jimmy made the driveway process feel transparent from start to finish. A 2025 HomeAdvisor customer described a replaced driveway with smooth, clean edges and grading, and called the price fair.

A 2025 Google customer said a driveway paved in one day had depressions with fissures and bumps less than a year later. That 2025 customer said Jimmy promised to fix it free, then stopped communicating. A 2024 HomeAdvisor customer said many rough patches showed up a few days after the driveway was installed and that Jimmy said sealcoating in the fall would fix them. In 2024, that customer wrote that after months of trying to reach the company, Jimmy said it was too late to do it now.

The Better Business Bureau grades the company A+.

**Strengths:**
- A quick paving job — a recent customer said it was done within a few hours
- A transparent process — a recent customer said Jimmy kept it so start to finish

**Concerns:**
- Driveway wear — a 2025 customer reported depressions and bumps within a year
- Repair follow-through — a 2025 customer said communication stopped after a free-fix promise
- Rough patches — a 2024 customer reported them days after installation
