## The honest read

Manny and his crew stripped and replaced a big multi-pitched roof in a single day — "there's a lot of roof here", the homeowner wrote in July 2026 — and still protected everything around the house and cleaned up before they left. Safe Home Roofing works out of Lunenburg; the company calls itself family-owned and says it has 20 years of exterior work behind it: roofs, siding, gutters, windows and doors, decks, storm damage, snow removal.

The roof is the main event, and not the only thing they do. Another July 2026 customer had two large skylights fitted by Manny and his son Jose, who came back the next day to be sure it was right. A third, the same month, had slate put on. In May 2026 a customer had the siding replaced on an entire house, and in July 2025 the crew took a garage far enough apart to reframe a wall, then redid its roof, siding, insulation and drywall.

Five of the written reviews single out the cleanup — grounds protected, the site swept, one home left spotless after the new fascia boards went on. Insurance work shows up too: a May 2026 customer said the company stayed transparent all the way through filling out the claim and finished well ahead of the date given.

Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #191912, is active and held by Safe Home Roofing, Inc. BBB grades the company A+ and has accredited it since 7/10/2024, and its BBB profile lists construction supervisor licence CS-097513.

One thing to square up first: eight of the Google reviews credit the work to "Mainato Restoration" rather than to Safe Home Roofing, and some of them name the same people who turn up in the rest of the reviews. Ask which company name goes on the contract, the permit and the warranty.

For a roof replacement that has to be finished quickly and tidily — or a skylight, a fascia run, a full re-side — this is a crew customers describe as fast and neat. Get the scope and the registration number written into the contract, and ask who the on-site lead will be.

**Strengths:**
- One-day roof replacements — a July 2026 customer's large roof finished in a day
- Skylight installs — two large skylights fitted for a July 2026 customer
- Clean job sites — five reviewers describe protected grounds and thorough cleanup
- Whole-house siding — a May 2026 review covers a full siding replacement
- Active HIC registration — Massachusetts registry shows 191912 active for the company
- BBB A+ — accredited since 7/10/2024

**Concerns:**
- Company name on reviews — eight credit Mainato Restoration, not Safe Home Roofing

**Where sources disagree:**
- Eight of the Google reviews name Mainato Restoration as the company that did the work rather than Safe Home Roofing, and some of them name the same crew members who appear in the other reviews; the active state registration, 191912, is held by Safe Home Roofing, Inc.
