## The honest read

SafeGuard Home Inspection holds a 5-star average across 272 Google ratings. A recent customer said the inspection produced an 80 page report, drafted quickly, that clearly marked which items warranted attention.

The company describes its work as a thorough and detailed home inspection meant to identify defects before a buyer moves forward, paired with an educational experience about the house.

A recent customer said Jonathan started an hour and a half after regularly scheduled hours so that customer and a daughter could both be present, and that the detailed report arrived within 12 hours. A 2026 customer said Jon went through the home room by room, floor by floor, system by system, and found items related to moisture, HVAC and outdoor pavers. A 2025 customer said the inspection caught two breakers on the electrical panel that were not the same brand; an electrician that customer consulted called it a good catch, and the customer negotiated with the seller to fix it.

A 2025 customer said Johnathan used thermal imaging and meter readings while examining the roof. A 2025 customer said Jonathan adjusted his schedule to set up a radon test a few days early because that customer was doing work on the house. A 2023 customer said Jonathan explained the radon treatment system and well-water treatment systems.

A 2021 customer said Jon used a drone to get close to the chimney and parts of the roof, found a small damp spot behind a small closet door in the ceiling, and emailed a written report of 80-plus pages the next day.

A recent customer left a one-star Google review that says "Horrible."
