--- title: "Samar Real Estate Solutions, LLC" description: "Three permits tell the range: a $10,000 bathroom upgrade in Brookline in 2023, a $21,180 roof replacement in Somerville in 2021, and a $61,500 job in Belmo" doc_version: "2026-09-20" last_updated: "2026-09-20" --- # Samar Real Estate Solutions, LLC **Trade:** Handyman · **Address:** 100 Sanborn Avenue, West Roxbury, MA 02132 · **Phone:** (617) 780-5293 · **Website:** https://solutionsbysamar.com · **Languages:** English, Spanish **Rating: 3.1/5** (low confidence) — from 2 reviews across 6 sources. ## The honest read Three permits tell the range: a $10,000 bathroom upgrade in Brookline in 2023, a $21,180 roof replacement in Somerville in 2021, and a $61,500 job in Belmont in 2025. Samar Real Estate Solutions is the two-person West Roxbury company behind them — by its own account a small handyman service that grew into a design-build practice, now repairing, renovating and turning over homes and investment properties for Boston-area homeowners, landlords and real estate professionals. Samar Abi Hassan Abdul Samad owns it, and BBB puts the business at 7 years. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #196810, is active, and the state's Supplier Diversity Office certifies the company as both a Minority Business Enterprise and a Women Business Enterprise — certification 20220132, active through 2028. BBB accredited it in 2025 and grades it A+; its BBB page also lists licence number CS-115916 from the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation and licence number 55073 from the Massachusetts Board of State Examiners of Electricians. What customers have written is short and dated: two reviews, both from January 2023, both recommending. One called the work "very neat and efficient"; the other was "really happy with the timeliness of the work." HomeAdvisor carries the same Angi listing, so the 4.8 showing on both is that same pair. With two employees on the books, staffing is the thing to settle first — for anything approaching the size of that Belmont job, ask who is actually on site and for how long. Its Angi listing says Spanish is spoken and estimates are free. For repair-and-refresh work around Boston — interior and cabinet painting, doors and windows, a kitchen or bath renovation — and for an owner who needs MBE or WBE certification on the paperwork, this is a small shop with the registrations behind it; pin down the crew and the schedule before work starts. **Strengths:** - State registration — Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active - MBE and WBE certified — state Supplier Diversity Office certification active through 2028 - Neat, prompt work — both January 2023 reviewers said so - BBB accredited — an A+ grade on its profile - Permitted projects — Brookline bathroom, Somerville roof, a larger Belmont job - Spanish spoken — listed on its Angi and HomeAdvisor profiles ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration #196810 is active, held by Samar Real Estate Solutions LLC _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://contractorhub.mass.gov/s/hic-contractor-search) — “MA hic license 196810 registry-verified active — registry holder of record: Samar Real Estate Solutions LLC” - Certified by the Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office as both a Minority Business Enterprise and a Women Business Enterprise, certification 20220132, active through 2028 _(confidence: high)_ - [Diversity Certification Registry](https://diversitycertification.mass.gov/BusinessDirectory/BusinessDirectorySearch.aspx) — “Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certification 20220132 verified active — registry holder of recor…” - [Diversity Certification Registry](https://diversitycertification.mass.gov/BusinessDirectory/BusinessDirectorySearch.aspx) — “Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office Women Business Enterprise (WBE) certification 20220132 verified active — registry holder of record: …” - BBB-accredited with an A+ grade, accredited in 2025 _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/west-roxbury/profile/real-estate-services/samar-real-estate-solutions-llc-0021-554383) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/west-roxbury/profile/real-estate-services/samar-real-estate-solutions-llc-0021-554383) — “Better Business Bureau: accredited / certified / member” - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/west-roxbury/profile/real-estate-services/samar-real-estate-solutions-llc-0021-554383) — “Listed certification: BBB Accredited Business (accredited since 12/17/2025)” - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/west-roxbury/profile/real-estate-services/samar-real-estate-solutions-llc-0021-554383) — “BBB profile for Samar Real Estate Solutions, LLC of West Roxbury, MA: BBB Accredited since 12/17/2025 with an A+ rating, 7 years in business…” - A West Roxbury design-build and handyman company with two employees and 7 years in business, owner listed as Samar Abi Hassan Abdul Samad _(confidence: high)_ - [Official Website](https://solutionsbysamar.com) — “A West Roxbury, MA design-build and handyman contractor that repairs, renovates and turns over homes and investment properties for Boston-ar…” - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/west-roxbury/profile/real-estate-services/samar-real-estate-solutions-llc-0021-554383) — “BBB profile for Samar Real Estate Solutions, LLC of West Roxbury, MA: BBB Accredited since 12/17/2025 with an A+ rating, 7 years in business…” - Works across the Boston area for homeowners, landlords and real estate professionals, repairing, renovating and turning over homes and investment properties _(confidence: high)_ - [Official Website](https://solutionsbysamar.com) — “A West Roxbury, MA design-build and handyman contractor that repairs, renovates and turns over homes and investment properties for Boston-ar…” - [Official Website](https://solutionsbysamar.com) — “Stated service area (self-reported): Boston” - The company says it began as a small handyman service and grew into a design-build practice _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://solutionsbysamar.com) — “Company history (self-reported): Founded on the idea that homes and investment properties deserve the same level of care;
