That 2025 customer wrote that after the project was finished and signed off, they practically had to beg him to come and receive the final payment. Schomber Electric describes itself on its website as an electrician based in New Milford, and it lists a service area that includes Bethel, Brookfield, Danbury, Newtown, Ridgefield and Westport. On Google it holds 4.9 stars from 27 ratings, and BuildZoom shows 69 projects for the company. A 2026 customer said he installed a SPAN Smart Panel, then walked them through how the panel works and explained the app. A 2024 customer said that when a main line went down and the house was without heat, Scott got a tech out within hours and replaced the main breaker as a temporary fix, then had a plan and quote in 2 days and permits, parts and work in a week. A 2024 customer said Scott analyzed generator issues ahead of a storm, and the generator worked during the outage that followed. A 2023 customer said the company wired the home for central air and spotted an issue with the panel and fixed it right away. A 2022 customer said Scott replaced old outlets with grounded ones and switches, put the microwave on its own feed, and noticed that the line from the outside to the panel was deteriorating. A 2023 customer wrote that when Scott replaced a bathroom exhaust fan, he did not connect it to the existing roof vent duct, and that a return visit to wire a smoke alarm was billed at $185 for a half hour job with no quote given. A 2008 Angi customer said the job took a year to finish, after paying 3/4 of the estimate. It holds an active Connecticut E1 electrician licence, ELC.0190374-E1, under Warren S Schomber. **Strengths:** - A whole-home rewire — a 2025 customer said calls were returned promptly - A SPAN panel install — a 2026 customer said he explained the panel and app - Emergency heat restored — a 2024 customer said a tech came within hours **Concerns:** - A smoke alarm charge — a 2023 customer said $185 was billed without a quote - A year-long job — a 2008 Angi customer said it took a year to finish ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 4.9 stars on Google from 27 ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Schomber%20Electric%20LLC&query_place_id=ChIJccZtYGf154kRTEFURig-DEM) — “Google: 4.9★ from 27 ratings” - A 2025 customer described a down-to-the-studs rewiring of an older home _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT21ZeFdEbEtRazAyTkRGU09YRmlWVVphWW5OalpuYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x430c3e284654414c!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOmYxWDlKQk02NDFSOXFiVUZaYnNjZnc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Five Stars is Not Enough!
