## The honest read

Scituate Roofing & Exteriors carries a 2.3-star Google rating from 13 ratings. A local news site, valleybreeze.com, has named it among the businesses that took top spots alongside a readers' pick, Rison Seamless Gutters.

A 2025 customer said the roof itself came out nicely after it was totally redone with three skylights, but that one skylight was framed in incorrectly by the job foreman, put in by eye without measuring and not centered in the space. That 2025 customer said that after four months and multiple texts and calls, with promises to send someone out, the problem had still not been rectified.

A 2024 customer said Kevin incorrectly assessed a basic slider replacement, that the job needed additional cosmetic work to the exterior and took over an extra month, and that the door still felt heavy and sticking. That 2024 customer wrote that the owner, Mike, refused to come out and inspect the work, that the company billed for the extra work and threatened a collection agency, and that they filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

A 2025 customer said the company showed up to their house unannounced while they were at work, after not showing up to a scheduled quote discussed a week prior. A 2024 reviewer who said they insulated a property in Warwick for Kevin wrote that Kevin still owed them $5,800 and had blocked their calls and texts. A recent Google customer wrote: "Run away."

**Strengths:**
